Sylvan is a mobile application based on the measurement and recording of sporting activities with the aim of supporting charitable causes to combat deforestation in the Amazon in collaboration with the association #SavingTheAmazon.
PROBLEM
The Brazilian Amazon, holding one-third of the world's primary tropical forests, has lost 60% of its vegetation, making it the most deforested region. Futhermore, physical inactivity is the fourth leading cause of death, and environmental awareness is rapidly increasing
SOLUTION
Sylvan was developed to merge exercise with environmental conservation. The app incentivizes users to complete physical challenges by offering discounts at partner eco-friendly companies, promoting responsible and sustainable consumption
